I enjoy having a go at sketching, including rough charcoal drawings, but much prefer admiring other people’s art.

About me
From reading the dictionary in bed as a child, to graduating with a first-class degree in linguistics from University College London, language has always excited me.
I have a keen interest in the power of words, specifically the art of rhetoric, historical fiction and politics.
After a career break to raise my two daughters, I’ve spent the last 9 + years in communications and copywriting. I’ve written for magazines and have completed the first draft of a 50,000 word adventure novel.
In my spare time, I love lifting weights, a nice glass of Rioja and spending time with my elderly golden retriever, Teddy.
